Frequently Asked Questions
I never had a gastric emptying study. Do I still have a claim?
For gastroparesis, the court requires one. Other injuries, such as a bowel obstruction confirmed by imaging, are handled differently. Tell us what testing you had.
Does it matter whether I took the drug for diabetes or weight loss?
No. Both are covered.
Is there a deadline?
Yes. Ask as soon as you can, because California deadlines can run from when you learned of the injury and its possible cause.
